Challenge Accepted
Every generation of Christians faces a choice: preserve the status quo or pursue the mission Jesus gave us. This fall, Hope Church is choosing the mission. Challenge Accepted is a four-week series about the fundamentals of being the church. We'll rediscover the mission that started it all, the intentional growth required to become mature followers of Jesus, and the calling every believer has to represent Christ in the world. This isn't about adding more programs or filling seats. It's about building a church filled with people who know why they are here and are ready to make a difference. We believe God wants to do something significant through Hope Church. The challenge is in front of us. Will you accept it?
Episode 1 - “The Mission”
Jesus gave the church one mission: make disciples. Somewhere along the way, churches can become focused on preferences, programs, and comfort instead of the challenge Jesus put before us. In Part 1 of Challenge Accepted, we'll rediscover why the church exists and why following Jesus was never meant to be a spectator sport. The mission is clear. The question is: will you choose to accept it?
